Any mention of music in Jamshedpur cannot be complete without the mention of Late Pandit Chandrakant Apteji, who was a trained classical singer and imparted training in Hindustani classical vocal music to hundreds of students in Jamshedpur. His students have brought laurels to steel city and the tradition still goes on even after his demise.
